Pioneering Change, One Home at a Time
Our journey began in 2004 when Peace Corps volunteer
Sam Goldman experienced the dire need for safe and reliable power in developing regions. A tragic accident involving a kerosene lamp in Benin, Africa, catalysed the inception of d.light.
Partnering with Ned Tozun at Stanford University, the vision of a brighter, safer, and more sustainable future was born.
Together, they transformed d.light into a beacon of hope, safety, and progress for underserved communities.
Global Footprint, Local Heartbeat
d.light's impact is deeply personal, touching individual lives and communities worldwide.
Our desire to understand and cater to local needs became paramount as we expanded.
This led us to collaborate with Bradian Logistics, the Exclusive Master Distributor for d.light in South Africa,
ensuring that our products and services are tailored to the unique challenges and aspirations of the South African market.
A brighter future
Our Commitment to
South Africa
With many South Africans needing access to reliable power with limited financial resources, we aim to bridge this divide.
By leveraging d.light's extensive experience and pairing it with Bradian's local insights, we're introducing transformative energy solutions that resonate with South Africans.
A Future Illuminated by Possibility
Our goal is clear: by 2030, we aim to empower 1 million South Africans with sustainable products that transform lives. As we journey forward, we hold steadfast to the belief that every South African deserves access to clean, safe, and reliable energy solutions.
